Young Australians who secure employment and remain off welfare payments for a minimum of 12 months may be eligible for up to $6,500 in incentive payments through the Australian Government’s Job Commitment Bonus.

The Job Commitment Bonus will provide a payment of $2,500 to eligible young Australians aged 18 to 30 who have been on Newstart Allowance or Youth Allowance (as a job seeker) for 12 months or more, if they secure a job and remain off welfare for a continuous period of 12 months.

Local company, MRAEL Group, has been announced as one of the Providers for the Australian Government’s new Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Pilot Program.

The Skills Checkpoint Pilot, which commences immediately, is a free career advisory service offered to employed individuals aged 45 to 54 years. The service will assess where individuals are in their careers and offer guidance if a change in career direction is needed or desired.
